Emily's Place B&B

The breakfast was a real highlight, fresh and delicious both mornings. The owner said they grow most of the fruit and some herbs and vegetables on site, and it showed. On the second day I ate with two other guests, and she came over for a chat. The town of Creemore is lovely too, with plenty to see and do, though I was mostly there for pinball at Ontario PinFest. I booked the smallest room for a weekend visit and, while it was small, it was plenty for one person. The bed was very comfortable. It's a 130 year old converted house, so there's no central air, but the modern window unit worked well. The bathroom is shared and was squeaky clean; I never had trouble working around the other guests for a shower. Wi-Fi is free through Rogers Wireless. It's not especially fast, but worked well enough. There's also a fantastic gazebo out back, lit up in the evening. I had nothing bad to say about my stay. I wanted somewhere affordable but nice, and this lovely property fit the bill. The service was great, prices reasonable, and the breakfast was among the best I've had, even compared with high-end restaurants. I hope to return for PinFest, and I'll absolutely stay here again.
