We were looking for an RV spot and arrived at 9:15, even though the posted hours said the office was open until 10. The office was locked, and we should have left then. We called, and eventually someone came down to make a reservation. Their dog was loose and barked at us for at least an hour before the owner came out to calm it. There are no restrooms for the RV park, so we had to cross the street to use the gas station. Not good at all.

There’s no WiFi, the fire alarm batteries are dead, and the fire extinguisher is a year out of date. The room’s appliances were plugged into old, unsafe-looking power bars and outlets, and none of the doors close properly. On top of that, the woman running the place kept harassing us about our two kids and messes they hadn’t even made. She even came in and started vacuuming while my children and I were napping. We were staying so my wife could have our third child, and this woman did nothing but stress and harass us. Never again.

The staff were really friendly and the service was excellent. It’s a quiet, well-located motel with generously sized rooms at a good price.

There’s a grocery store about a block away, and a Tim Horton's and gas station just across the street. The location is right downtown Dawson Creek.
