Globalstay Modern Lillian St Apartments

I’ve traveled to 27 countries and lived in 7, and this was the worst experience I’ve had. I booked through hotels.com thinking I was getting a hotel, but it turned out to be an office building converted into an apartment. From day one, my daughter and I had no TV and no hot water. They never fixed the TV, and it took five days for anyone to deal with the hot water. They held my deposit for two weeks, then charged a cleaning fee even though I left the place exactly as I found it, actually better. I’m filing a lawsuit over the lack of hot water, which is against the law in my province. Stay far away from these horrible people. I’d give them zero if I could.

The mattress in one bed was worn out and badly sagged in the middle. It squeaked, and I woke up sore every morning. There’s no excuse for not replacing it. Towels smelled awful, and although Global said Netflix was included, it didn’t work. Check-in was confusing and difficult. Global also mishandled parking, assigning one spot to more than one person, and the parking itself was very expensive. We rented a two-bedroom with two double beds, but they wanted extra for three guests. The apartment was clean, but this was aggravating, poor value, and I wouldn’t rent from Global again.

Please don’t stay here and ruin your holiday. Customer service was terrible, and nobody took responsibility for anything that happened in the apartment.
