SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Drumheller

The pool and waterslide were a big hit with the family, and breakfast had lots of fresh options. We found the room very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked for one night during a quick family trip to the museum, and the price was right. We'd absolutely stay again.

The pool was packed while a few hockey teams were staying there. Our room was a standard setup with a very comfortable king bed and a sitting area. It also had a deep tub, microwave, sink, coffee maker, fridge, desk, TV, and A/C. The shower was decent, with shampoo and rinse mounted on the wall. Breakfast was a full spread: scrambled eggs, good pancakes, sausage, hash browns, cereal, juice, coffee, toast, jam, syrup, whipped cream, milk, and more. Staff were really friendly, and the prices seemed reasonable, though it was over $200 a night in Oct 2025. A great family hotel, and I had a really good night's sleep.

The staff were welcoming and pleasant, and the location worked fine for a night while I was driving through. I couldn't find a pet-friendly room anywhere else for the night I needed, though I was dismayed by this room's condition. It needed a thorough vacuum and wipe-down. The linens were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The bathroom was clean, but dated, and the loose sink faucet was falling off. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on it. The price shocked me: the much more modern, clean, comfortable hotel I stayed at the night before cost $50 less. If you temper your expectations, this seems like the kind of place for work crews who put in long days and mainly need a bed and bathroom. That would be fine.

The breakfast was the deal maker for us. Sure-Stay puts real effort into it, and the food actually has flavor. It was SOOO much better than the complimentary breakfast at the Quality Inn. We spent a week here before trying the Quality Inn in the next parking lot over. That place is old, while this hotel's rooms are really nice by comparison and the service was great. Sure Stay costs about $20-30 more a night in Drumheller, but it's worth it, TRUST ME!
