We stayed three nights in the rustic Red Pine cabin, which has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. I could ski right onto the groomed cross-country trails, and one afternoon we snowshoed to The Lookout. Deer came past the front windows every day. This was my second winter visit, and we're planning to return next year.
The Tapley family has run this place for generations, and they know how to make a stay feel just right. The cottages are nicely spaced across open grounds, with a lovely sandy beach. Great value in cottage country.

A relaxing, activity-filled place to stay, with a canoe included. It's a basic, rustic cottage resort that's been family-owned for three generations.
We had to leave our cottage after animals got in, and this place saved our vacation. The owners were sweet, very accommodating, and got a cottage ready for us in under an hour. The property and cottage were clean and clearly cared for, and the staff were just as nice. My boys went to the stables every day to see the chickens, ponies, and horses and learn about life in the barn. We were there in winter, and I can only imagine how lovely and fun it must be in summer. Highly recommend!
