Port Cunnington Lodge gave us the wedding weekend we’d imagined from the beginning. The cottages and cabins were beautiful, the property was cared for so well, and it comfortably accommodated our guests. The venue worked beautifully for all the wedding festivities, including the lakeside outdoor ceremony we wanted. My wife and I started looking in summer 2024 for a place where everyone could stay onsite. By September 2025, we had the weekend we’d hoped for. The staff were well prepared, the food was amazing, and the hospitality helped make our wedding day stress free. A special thank you to Angela, who helped us from our first visit right through to final checkout. We had the best time!

It still has that original Muskoka feel, which is getting harder to find. Beautiful scenery, great restaurant food, and friendly, prompt service made for a lovely late September weekend. Even then, my four year old and two year old had the time of their lives playing on the beach and in the shallow water. A true gem!

The food was some of the best I’ve had at any of the 20 or more weddings I’ve attended over the last five years. The cottages were all very clean and well cared for, though some are dated and due for an upgrade. Great Horned Owl especially could use one. Osprey and Golden Eagle were AMAZING. We had our wedding here in September 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better venue, location, food, or service. Once the day arrived, everything went smoothly and we had the perfect wedding and weekend, along with our guests. I’d happily do it again and highly recommend PCL, despite a few planning hiccups. Before the wedding, staff responses felt a bit slow and light on detail, so I had to ask lots of basic questions and figure out information myself. The planning can be muddled. I’d strongly suggest hiring a wedding coordinator separately from the Lodge. Angela and her staff are amazing, but they won’t be focused on details like the ceremony and table arrangements.

The scenery is beautiful and the views are so relaxing. The whole staff works hard to keep everyone safe and happy on vacation. We had an absolutely amazing time and will definitely be back. Thank you so much from The Buda Family. 🙏🏻

The grounds, location, and cottages are amazing. We’ve been coming for five years, and it’s a full five stars from me. Angela is fantastic, and John has been doing amazing things since joining the team.
