We saw the Roy Orbison Tribute at Mayfield Dinner Theater, which is part of the hotel. The meal was excellent and the performances were outstanding. We had a great stay at Doubletree too. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful, and our package included a great breakfast. We'd highly recommend the Roy Orbison Tribute and are definitely coming back for upcoming events.

The casino games made our Christmas party extra fun, and the event space was organized well. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and everything went smoothly. It was my first visit to DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Edmonton Downtown, and I was impressed by how clean, beautiful, and welcoming it felt. We had a memorable time and would recommend the hotel for parties or group events. We'll be back!

The location isn't anything special and there aren't great views, but inside the hotel feels warm and inviting. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, quiet, and well suited to people with accessibility needs. We enjoyed the on-site dinner theatre, and the restaurant's buffet breakfast was great.

There were lots of breakfast choices, though I wasn't keen on having the server bring the coffee. I wanted decaf mixed half and half with hot water, but it seemed the coffee was kept behind the counter for tips. The fruit also didn't seem very fresh. The service was nice, and I liked the warm cookies and large lobby. Still, my room was small and looked old, and the pillows were too high for me with no lower one available. At almost $200 total, I wouldn't choose this hotel again.

The breakfast buffet was impressive, and Eta, our waitress, was lovely. We also appreciated the free upgrade to a nicer king suite that included the buffet. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly. Special thanks to Shaira and Amanda, who handled our extra towel request through the text service and got them to us promptly. The hotel was an easy drive to West Edmonton Mall, which was the main reason for our trip, as well as to various restaurants. We got delicious cookies when we arrived. The stay exceeded our expectations, especially for the price and service, and we'd definitely stay again.
