Auberge Motel Le Pigeonnier

The rooms have always been basic but clean when I’ve stayed here. I’ve been back three times over 4 or 5 years, and the property seems to be in worse repair each time. This year the hallways had a lot of water damage and a strong mildew and mold smell. Guests were smoking in their rooms too, which left a strong smoke odor. The hotel advertises cable TV and wifi, but neither was available. There were very few guests, so I expect the place may keep declining.

Once inside, the cleanliness really won me over. Everything was spotless, and they change all the bedding, not only the sheets and pillows. The bed was super comfy, and the staff were friendly. I was hesitant at first because the outside looked a bit seedy, and the interior seemed old and dated at a glance. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars. Love it, and thanks for the room!

The room was clean, and the blackout blinds worked well. The bed was shockingly comfortable, even more comfortable than the one I have at home. I came to Farnham for a last-minute work trip, and the owner was wonderful about fitting in my reservation and extending my visit. I’d definitely stay here again if I need to return to Farnham.

Easy breakfast is right nearby, with Tim Horton's and McDonald's beside the motel. The owner deserves five stars. The place is clean and organised, with new floors, an upgraded bathroom, and comfy beds. If you’re looking for a motel, don’t hesitate.
