Golden Village Lodge

The hotel’s location was convenient, a short distance from the Sky Bridge, and the view was great. What I’m especially grateful for happened after we checked out: I lost my bag, and the hotel owner helped me contact the property, then made sure the bag was found and sent to me. Their kindness and effort made a stressful situation much easier. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The staff were very nice and helpful, and my parents and I had a comfortable stay. Our room was clean and tidy, with clean linens and towels. The location was easy to get to, and we stayed in a room on the left side, which seemed newer than the rooms on the other side of the motel. There’s also a great Indian restaurant in the same lot.

At $273 for a room, this was one of the worst stays I’ve had. The air conditioner didn’t work properly, and there wasn’t even some water. The only upside was the location right off the highway exit. You can find better hotels within a 5-minute drive. I was highly disappointed.

The parking setup was odd. People parked in the middle of the lot, where the lines apparently mark actual spots, and getting our car out the next morning was a tight squeeze. The beds were quite uncomfortable, too. Still, the place was clean, the front desk people were very friendly, and we had a good stay otherwise. For a similar price, it’s the best value among the other hotels in town, though nothing fancy.
