Snow Valley Lodging

We had a clean, comfortable room, and the shared outdoor space was a nice place to hang out. The staff were awesome and let my friends check in extra early so they could get their dog settled. We were there with a few friends over the long weekend for the demo derby, and we’ll definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I had a Valentine’s getaway here. It was cozy and super clean, and the customer service was 10/10. I’d definitely recommend it!

The location is great, and the rooms were clean, though they could use better soundproofing. What put us off was a dog fee that was added without notice and that we luckily caught. The explanation for adding it seemed made up, and it was later removed. That lack of transparency was troubling, and we’d never recommend the place. The questionable billing outweighs the good things about it.

We loved how easy it was to walk to restaurants, get treats, and explore, and the hot tub was such a treat. You book a time slot in the lobby, so our family got private time to relax and soak after a long day. The motel felt warm and cozy, with a family feel throughout. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had what we needed: a fridge, microwave, and full bath. The soft lighting and locally made Fernie soap and body wash were lovely touches. Parking was free, and we got a spot just outside our room. Booking was easy and check-in was a breeze. The girl working on August 5 greeted us with the warmest smile and made us feel welcome straight away. We drove from Calgary through beautiful scenery to get to Fernie, and we truly enjoyed our stay. I’d 100% stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fernie!
