When my reservation was unexpectedly cancelled, Booking.com had already taken my payment. Gemma, the hotel manager, and Abby at the front desk were patient, professional, and genuinely supportive while helping me sort it out and get my money back. Their kindness and clear communication made a frustrating situation much easier. It’s rare to meet people who care so much about guests. The hotel is lucky to have them both, and I’m very grateful for how they handled everything. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish.

They let me stay and work a little longer without pressuring me to leave at the usual 11 am checkout. Everyone was super friendly. The room was clean, the gym was awesome, breakfast was hot, and they took care of our venue for the key workshop.

The parking lot was nearly empty when we arrived, so we weren’t sure at first, but inside it was super clean with modern decor. It’s quiet and well located away from the busy downtown area, and the breakfast was wonderful. A great place right as you come into town.

After a long day of flying and working from Fort Chipewan, all I wanted was a warm shower and some rest. Instead, the shower water was ice cold, and nobody at the front desk had told us the boiler was broken. I had to pack up and leave the hotel at 11 pm.
