The room looked clean at first, but it smelled like old food. A few hours into working, I noticed feces on the toilet seat and down the front of the toilet, and the microwave had visible food and finger smudges. The carpet was so dirty I didn't want to take off my shoes. I barely slept and felt itchy from the blankets. I arrived late for a work trip my employer booked. The hotel is dated but renovated. I won't return, and would have posted pictures if I could.

Breakfast was nicely thought out and presented, the coffee was good, and I was greeted in the lobby that morning with a big smile. The staff were awesome, and the hotel was clean and tidy, right downtown so you could walk anywhere. It was a cute, quaint place that felt like a step back in time. No disappointments here.

I've had few experiences as good as this one. The Bridgeport in is a beautiful hotel, with really friendly and polite staff and awesome service. I'd give it five stars.

This place isn't worth $135 per night. The tub drain was clogged, and I got what looked like bedbug bites. I reported them to the front desk, and she took a picture of my affected arm. I was told the manager would call me, but after waiting with no call, I called her. She said she'd contacted inspection and would respond if they found anything suspicious. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The staff are great, and I had a good stay overall. For a good price, it's a great option among the hotels in for mac. I'd recommend it.
