Woodlands Inn & Suites

Our company has stayed here whenever we’re in Fort Nelson for more than 20 years, and the staff always make us feel at home. Crystal and Sara at the front desk were especially helpful managing our stay across 3 apartments. The cleaning staff did a very good job too. Thanks a bunch!

The water was the one real downside for us. It smelled bad in the shower and tasted the same at breakfast in the restaurant. It seemed to be mixed into the juice and coffee as well, like another reviewer mentioned a few days earlier. Even so, we think this is still the nicest hotel in Fort Nelson. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff are VERY kind, friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and nice. The kitchen rooms in the tower are well stocked with everything you need. I moved here from another Hotel in Fort Nelson for several long stays, and it’s handy having a restaurant in the hotel for quick meals. Service is quick, though I’d rather have a buffet breakfast. Cleaning every 3 days is fine, but I’d like full service on those days, including vacuuming. Overall, a very nice hotel. I’d recommend it without hesitation.

The meals were good, with a continental breakfast and a dinner menu, and nearly all the staff were very friendly. But the 2011 vintage TV is only 720p, and the wifi was too finicky for streaming from my own device. The controls and viewing experience were painful, with no movie access or anything like that. Evenings in the room can feel long.
