Lakeview Inns & Suites Fort Saskatchewan

I’ve traveled for work for nearly 30 years and stayed in hundreds of hotels, but I’ve never dealt with service this rude. I booked one day too few by mistake, and when I went to the desk, they wouldn’t honor the rate for four nights that I could see on their website. They wanted almost twice as much and told me rudely to book through their own site. While we went out to eat, I asked for the room to be cleaned. It was still dirty when we got back. Then at exactly 11 the next morning, the phone rang asking if we were staying another night, while we were nearly ready to leave. I’d never stay here again.

I'm writing on behalf of a friend who stayed here a couple of weeks ago and isn't comfortable writing reviews. They really enjoyed the visit. The room was clean and well kept, and the front desk gave them helpful answers when they asked about local things to see and do. They said they'd book here again on their next trip to town.

For the price, this is the best place to stay in the Fort. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with big TVs. Breakfast includes hot choices like pancakes, sausage and hash browns, plus plenty more.

The room felt old, though it was clean enough. The bed was okay and the air conditioner worked. I'd avoid the ground floor, since you have to keep the curtains shut all the time. On the morning we left, some lights and one outlet stopped working.
