Silverwood Inn & Suites

We were meant to stay two nights, but left after the first when we noticed ants all over the bathroom. There was barely enough hot water to shower even once, and when we asked for a refund, they refused. Horrible stay. March 7 2026

I stayed from July through September, and the room was in excellent shape with a really comfortable bed. The pool was kept up very well and was a great way to enjoy the summer. I also loved the natural scenery around the motel. Having a café and a nail spa right there was such a nice bonus. It's a memorable place, and I'd love to come back.

Room 33 was roomy, with plenty of outlets so we didn't have to argue over charging spots, and the Wi-Fi was strong. The shower had some of the best pressure I've had at a motel, enough to joke that I didn't need that first layer of skin anyway. Everything felt clean and comfortable, with the little conveniences actually thought through. Of all the motels we've tried, our stay at the Silverwood Inn was easily the best. It's our first choice now when we're passing through.

The owners were so friendly, even bringing us mesh chairs to sit outside our room and watch a thunderstorm roll in. The bakery next door also has incredible desserts and great coffee. I was pleasantly surprised to find a spotless room after all the hotels in town were booked. The outlets and clock worked, the fridge was a good size, the sheets were nice, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner worked. That's better than a lot of $150-plus hotels I've stayed in this past year. A hairdryer was the one thing missing, though I didn't need one. Thanks, I'll be back and try a suite next time.
