Villagers Inn

The outside looked run-down, and there were some dodgy-looking people hanging around the bar. I didn't feel comfortable leaving the car outside. Inside, the cigarette smell was so strong it caught in my throat, and the whole place made me feel dirty. The beds were worn out, and most of the many pillows were old and lumpy. We packed everything back up and left without staying. I know you get what you pay for, but it wasn't clean at all. I wouldn't recommend it, even if you're trying to save money.

The fridge was dirty, the microwave had pieces missing, and there were broken windows and curtain rods. The bed was so old it was almost a joke, and the bedding had holes. I didn't even touch the couch. The place smelled of old cigarettes too. Definitely not worth the $100.

The room had a broken window, a leaking bathroom sink, and a mattress that sagged about a foot and a half. Smoke smell was everywhere, and the entrance was really dirty, like a cowboy saloon. There's no elevator either. You get what you pay for, I guess, so maybe half a star.

We needed somewhere affordable while my wife was in Trail for emergency surgery. We're low-income farm workers, and I couldn't pay for a fancy motel just to get some sleep after two sleepless days. The surgery went well, but she had to stay another night in recovery. The motel is older, but the price was worth it. It was quiet, the management was friendly, and the beds were new. I slept well, and after two nights I felt rested. The coffee was great too. I'd stay again if I needed to. Thanks to the nice management!
