The hot tub was a dream, especially with a view over the horse pasture beside the manor. We also loved the rooms, the super comfortable beds, and the lovely furniture. The food was amazing, and the lounge was such a relaxing spot to read or play games. The outdoor area around the Manor was gorgeous. Everyone we dealt with was helpful from our first call to checkout. They even dropped us off and picked us up for our Pilgrimme reservation. We loved our time at woodstone and can’t wait to come back!

The team at Woodstone made our trip unforgettable. They were so good with our kids, setting out cots with little goodies, their own towels, and chocolates. Not many places are this child friendly or this easy to deal with. Everything was amazing, from the food, service, rooms, cleanliness, and views to all the attention to detail. We were absolutely blown away by the service. 10/10 recommend if you’re on Galliano Island.

Our two night stay at this beautiful nine acre boutique estate was a wonderful first trip to Galiano. The view from the patio was lovely, with a valley below and deer, horses, and all kinds of birds outside the large windows. Breakfast was generous, tasty, and filling, easily the best I’ve had, so don’t be put off by the word continental. Dinner was wonderful too, with impeccable service in a luxurious setting. We couldn’t eat out on the patio, but the view and atmosphere looked breathtaking. For cooler weather, they have quality heaters and a wood fireplace to keep it cozy. Roxie, the owner, greeted us warmly and gave us a thorough tour. From the impressive custom black metal gates to the antique filled manor, the whole property felt very special. You have to experience the manor in person to understand its warmth and grandeur. Our king suite was spectacular, with high ceilings, plenty of room, beautiful antiques, and a spacious patio. We even had a private hot tub tucked into a hidden alcove to the left of the patio. It’s clear how much care and hard work have gone into making Woodstone Manor what it is.

What stayed with me most was how welcome my family and I felt while I was at Woodstone Manor for three nights working a wedding at another venue on the island. My son was excited to be there, and the team treated him like part of the family. He got to choose a present from a magical toy box and even ride a tractor. On the drive home he cried because he wished he could live there forever. The room was immaculate, the bed extra comfortable, and the food delicious, but the care and warm atmosphere made the stay memorable. We’ll definitely come back as a family. Thanks to Roxy, Stephen, Anita, Donna, and everyone else for all the hard work. We can’t thank you enough. Woodstone also hosted more than 100 guests from the wedding for two lunches in their restaurant. There were lots of meal options and dietary needs to handle, but the team worked tirelessly with us for months and went above and beyond on both event days to make everything run smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my couples and their guests back to Woodstone Manor.

After lunch, the owner gave us a tour, and the guest rooms and common room looked wonderful. I’d gladly come back and stay overnight. We’d arranged a special lunch visit for our day trip with a group, even though Woodstone Manor was usually closed at the time, so we had the dining room to ourselves. The setting was a lush valley among fields and meadows, right by the forest. Inside, there was a pleasant little hallway and the dining room straight ahead. The patio doors were open to let in fresh air, which made the welcome feel even nicer. Our meals had been ordered ahead, so service was simple. The choices were a chicken burger, salmon burger, or veggie burger. It’s a shame handheld food keeps dominating menus across British Columbia, as plated dishes seem rare in restaurants nowadays. Still, nobody had a complaint about the burgers; they were all delicious. I had the Creme brulee for dessert, and it was very tasty.
