Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and the dining area was kept neat. The pool, deck, sauna, and washroom were immaculate, with a pool big enough to swim laps. Our room at the Best Western Mountainview Inn was spacious, spotless, and had a microwave and mini fridge. Darwin welcomed us warmly at check-in, and the property clearly gets careful upkeep. We paid a very reasonable rate and would happily recommend it. We stayed four (4) nights and found it very comfortable.

We had to find somewhere at the last minute because of bad road conditions, and the Best Western in Golden had a room available at a reasonable rate. The staff at the desk were welcoming and friendly. Our room was properly stocked and sparkling clean, and we had a good breakfast before getting back on the road. A great place to stop for a break.

8/10
The rooms were clean and nicer than expected, and breakfast was good. Staff were pretty friendly too. There wasn't a hot tub, which was the main downside. Also, when we were there, a lot of kids were yelling and throwing things in the lobby at 7am.

We were already an hour into our drive the next day when they called to let us know we'd left our laptop behind. Riza was great when we checked in, and Harry packed the laptop so it would be ready for next-day UPS pickup. We were really impressed by that kind of customer service. Highly recommend this place.

4/10
The pool wasn't heated, which was a problem during our stay. Breakfast also let us down: the food had little flavor, and the dining space felt much too small for a hotel this size. The room needed better cleaning too, with hairs in the bathroom and glue residue left on the bathtub.
