Villa Eyrie Resort

The food was good and the location is great. I came for brunch on January 4th, and my server, a tall young woman whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, was warm and welcoming. Her smile and upbeat energy made my day, and I really appreciated her. I’d asked for coffee with my order, but it didn’t arrive with the food. I tried to get the attention of another server near the kitchen door and computer, who seemed to be the main host on the floor. She saw me and turned to a younger server, who also looked my way, but neither came over. I eventually went to ask someone about the coffee and found my own server making it. I’ve worked with lots of people as a professional photographer, and I’m not sure why those two servers acted that way. I just felt ignored. Still, my own server was wonderful.

The pet-friendly policy made the trip even better since we could bring our 11-year-old pug. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and our room was clean and lovely. We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Eyrie. The views alone make it worth going, and we’d definitely come back.

The Valentine’s dinner was five-star, and the restaurant looked beautiful, decorated for all the couples spending a romantic evening together. Everyone at the resort was friendly and helpful, even though I usually avoid holiday outings because places get so busy. Thanks to Samantha for making the stay memorable. We’ll definitely come back. My partner surprised me with a weekend at the Villa for Valentine’s Day. We live in Victoria and had never heard of this hidden gem. The views were breathtaking, and our master suite was spacious and very clean. It felt romantic, with rose petals and swans. I’d highly recommend upgrading to the romantic package.

I stayed there in March and had a great visit. There was a billing error, but Ebrahim sorted it out quickly and was very kind. You should be proud to have him on the team. That good experience makes me want to stay longer next time. Thanks again, Ebrahim. I hope the owner sees this and recognizes his efforts.
