Luna Bed and Breakfast

We often travel from the East Kootenays to Vancouver to see family and plan to stop here to break up the drive. With limited lodging in town, this is easily our preferred place. Booking through Booking.com has been simple. This was our second stay at Luna's B and B. We first booked the Family Studio last year while passing through and chose it again this year. Gabriela was easy to reach about our arrival time, and both visits we got in just after 11PM. She was very accommodating with the late check-in. The space is small but felt clean. The kitchenette and high tables gave us enough room to sit comfortably for breakfast. Save On is right across the road, so we walked over for baguettes, ham, and brie.

My flight was delayed, but the owner was understanding and very kind. Even though I was past the cancellation deadline, they didn’t charge me for a night. Thanks so much. I’ll definitely stay here next time I’m passing through.

The tree house is only a couple of blocks from the town center, so it’s convenient, and it’s great value. I stayed three nights in the two-story one at the back. It has loads of character and charm, and felt like a cabin rather than a hotel, which I prefer. There’s a small kitchenette with everything needed to cook. The property is on the main highway, so the bed vibrates a little when big trucks pass, but it didn’t bother me. I’ll stay there again next time I’m in town.

It feels like a little vacation even when I’m here for work. I’ve stayed a couple of times while working in the area, and the value is incredible. The place is cozy and cute, with thoughtful little touches that make it feel special. There’s a great couch with a snuggle-up blanket, an electric fireplace for extra coziness, snacks, an awesome bath, and lovely hosts. The bed is the yummiest, and the decor feels deluxe for the price.
