Days Inn - Trois-Rivieres

The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and being right off the highway was convenient. It is dated, but not every hotel has been renovated. Our room had no carpet, which felt cleaner and better for a pet-friendly place, and our dog was fine. Just remind the front desk you have a dog so they remember the $25 charge. That’s not a bad fee. The weather was very humid, so we left the bathroom exhaust fan on. If they replace the AC units, having AC and dry settings available at the same time would be great.

The staff were nice and helpful, but the hotel itself wasn’t great. My room was much smaller than it looked in the pictures, and the washroom tiles were disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I was going to arrive late for check-in and called to let them know, but it took 9 calls throughout the day before I got to speak with someone.

For a budget stay, this went beyond what we expected, and I couldn’t understand the negative reviews. The rooms were old but spacious and clean, breakfast was nice and free, and there was plenty of parking. Receptionists were polite, and reception was open 24 hours. It was a lovely stay at a very affordable price. Definitely recommend it for a quick stay.

The location works well for a quick highway stop, with a Tim’s and gas station across the street. Service was good. But the room was far below industry standard in 2024. The couch was so dirty I wouldn’t even put my luggage on it. The bathroom was full of mould, and peeling wallpaper had black mould underneath. I won’t stay here again. I’m disappointed to have wasted my money, 180$!
