Auberge La Veranda

We had a group of six, including four kids, and the spacious rooms fit us well. The woman working at reception was so sweet and gave the kids free candy. They loved her, and we slept soundly because it was quiet. There's a game room in the basement, too, and we had a blast. Such a cute place.

There were plenty of couches and places to sit, visit, and relax, and everything was organized and ready for our group. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with AC and a small kitchenette. Some things were dated, but that only added to the charm. It's an easy walk to the river and Church, and it felt like we were in France. Our pilgrimage bus usually stays at another hotel in the area, but they canceled a few days before we arrived. Auberge La Veranda fit our group of 25. Madame Claire and Madame Sonia, along with their family, went above and beyond, from the warm family welcome and elevator help to making sure everyone was settled and waving goodbye on the sidewalk. We'd stay again.

During my four days at Auberge La Véranda in Trois-Rivières, I found it exceptionally clean, and the staff were courteous and ready to help. The rates are very affordable, yet the rooms are comfortable and equipped with a stove and fridge, which made it easy to prepare meals. There's ample parking right across the street, and a wheelchair ramp for accessibility. I'd highly recommend it to casual visitors or people needing a longer stay, especially if they're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly place.

It isn't modern or especially beautiful, but staying here was a great experience. Everything was clean, and the staff were amazing. I met the sweetest lady, who told us all about the place's story and made some amazing waffles. It's a really cute place.
