Holiday Inn Express & Suites Trois Rivieres Ouest by IHG

The breakfast had a great range of choices for different diets, and everything else was amazing too. Getting in and out through the directional exits was tricky, though. Maybe that’ll improve once construction is finished.

We enjoyed strolling along the tree-lined sidewalks and through the open spaces nearby, and there’s a Sushi Shop at a plaza close by that we love. The staff were easy to deal with, the facilities were straightforward to get around, and our room was clean. For the price, that was good value. Breakfast was the low point: the food quality made it one of the worst continental breakfasts my wife and I have had. We’d suggest going to one of the breakfast spots in town instead. I also had trouble with the checkout and final bill in the app, but the online help and chat got back to me quickly and were effective.

The complimentary breakfast was a 10/10, and one of the cleanest I’ve seen. The staff were always in the kitchen keeping it in good shape. Everyone, from the front desk to the breakfast crew, was friendly and spoke English with me. They did everything they could to make me feel welcome. The rooms are huge, well equipped, fresh, and super clean, with a bathtub too. There’s good food nearby in this newer area. I can’t recommend this Hotel enough.

The rooms are clean and spacious, parking is great, and there’s a decent breakfast, pool, and gym. But the noise is awful. You can hear footsteps from upstairs, people flushing and showering next door, and sounds from the hallway and even the bathroom. The temperature control keeps clicking on and off too. I’d hope to be a heavy sleeper or have earplugs if staying here. You could ask for a top floor room.
