Les Résidences du Campus

The manager, Julie, is professional and attentive, and residents get a say in what they want. Services are really good for the rent, which is very low. The change of ownership has also helped the buildings, most of which have been renovated.

The rooms are very expensive, and the price varies with the number of people sharing an apartment. They’re filthy and haven’t been renovated at all, while the website photos are misleading. The managers are appalling and racist toward French people. Having visited several friends’ apartments in Trois-Rivières, I can say Résidences du Campus is by far the WORST residence in Trois-Rivières!

The owners cash checks and never return money they owe you, which makes them outright thieves. The laundry area is unsanitary, and the toilets are shoddy and constantly clogged. The website photos of the apartments are misleading, and on arrival you find a poorly renovated place with questionable cleanliness. If you don’t rent linens, there won’t even be a pillow or duvet, so you have to buy them yourself. If you do rent them, you get an old, scratchy wool blanket. The “equipment included” option is bare minimum, enough to make pasta and nothing else. Avoid these residences at all costs.

The apartment was dirty when I arrived, and the common areas were damaged. The room was uncomfortable, with a hard mattress, damaged furniture, and a cold storage-room feel to the decor. The one plus is that it’s close to the UQTR campus.
