We enjoyed the breakfast and the walks, and there was plenty of parking at a decent price. It’s a quaint, rustic hotel right on the water, about 29 minutes from trois rivières, with big, clean rooms and great front desk staff. We recommend it.

The restaurant was closed, and there was no lounge or pub, just a hotel in the middle of nowhere. We decided not to spend the last night of our vacation there, even though we'd already paid. We went to the new Holiday Inn and had dinner at Archibald's instead, and it was so much better. We felt duped by Expedia and the hotel. Consider yourself warned.

The setting by lake Saint-Pierre is beautiful, with lovely views and a great stretch of beach behind the resort. We enjoyed the outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna, and the restaurant was superb. The rooms were well kept and the mattress was comfortable.

For a room costing $350+, I expected more. The view is great and the staff are pleasant, but the rest didn't meet expectations. The food was okay, though I've paid less for better and more for much worse. The rooms need some TLC, and one of the spas needs servicing. At that price, it wasn't worth it.
