Motel Bellefeuille

The shower was warm and the air conditioner cooled the room, and we didn't hear noise from the other rooms. Still, the room smelled of mould, the curtains were old and dirty, and the shower leaked. The air conditioner was as loud as a vacuum cleaner. The door opened straight onto the parking lot, with a dirty, shelter-like hallway and a plastic chair outside.

We slept well and the service was good, but this motel seems more suited to workers or people who don't plan to rest much and leave very early. We were woken at 8am and asked to move our car because of the outside construction.

The bathroom wasn't very clean, and the place is a mess because it's under construction. The walls don't block sound, the location isn't very nice, and it's about a 20-minute walk to old town. If I were a woman, I wouldn't walk there alone. They also ask for a $150 deposit after you've paid for the room.

There was debris on the bed, maybe pieces of caulking, and wet, dirty towels from the last guests in the bathroom. The motel is under renovation, so the outside was a mess too. We tried explaining the room's condition to the person at reception, but the language barrier was too great to get the issue addressed. Cleanliness was a major problem, and I wouldn't recommend staying here. The shower had good water pressure and hot water, but I would never stay again.
