Granvalley Bed & Breakfast

The farmland views from the dining room were a lovely part of our stay, and Kathy shared the history of the house and area with us after breakfast. She and Karl made us feel like welcome guests from the start. The breakfast was a real treat: bacon, eggs, toast, orange juice, coffee, muffins, and coffee cake. My partner and I had initially wondered about staying at a small inn run by two people, but Granvalley Inn quickly won us over. The room felt cozy while still being modern, with the amenities we expected, and we both slept well. The French provincial style and farm-like charm made the whole place feel warm and inviting. We liked being just minutes from Annapolis Royal, hiking trails, and beautiful views. It was easy to explore the nearby spots and then come back to a comfortable, friendly place. Kathy and Karl clearly put care into making guests feel at home. We had a memorable, relaxing stay and would recommend the inn to anyone looking for a welcoming getaway in the valley.

We had coffee out on the back deck before breakfast, looking over the Annapolis River. Carl and Kathy made us feel right at home and really special. The breakfast was incredible, with far too much to list, and felt like something from a five-star hotel. My husband, our 17-year-old grandson, and I stayed for one night and enjoyed every bit of it. The rooms were great, and the shared living room, which we used with another couple, had movies and homemade treats, plus tea and coffee. We’ll definitely be back!

Kathy and Carl were incredibly friendly and made things easy for us. We stayed with our three kids, and everyone found the rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and they took our dietary restrictions into account. If you can stay here and pass it up, you’re missing out.

It was so homey, I half thought Kathy might tuck us in and kiss us goodnight! She cooked an amazing breakfast, with whatever we wanted whenever we wanted it. This felt like a home away from home beyond anything I could have imagined. Highly recommend staying with Kathy and Carl.
