The Falls Hotel & Inn

The location might be good, but the hassle made this the worst place to stay in the falls. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The room was disappointing, and after we struggled with staff to get the toilet fixed, it still wouldn't flush. Then they told us to use the bathroom in the room next door. Completely unacceptable. The heat didn't work either, so they handed us a heater and acted as though that fixed it. The pillows were awful and unusable. Breakfast was disgusting and the service was just as bad. I waited 10 minutes without anyone checking on me. When I got up to ask for coffee, the staff wouldn't even apologize, just said I was at a closed table. They could have redirected me to an open one. The manager refused to come out of her office when I asked to speak with her. Very rude and unprofessional. Awful place, and even worse staff. I wouldn't recommend it. Spend a little extra somewhere you'll be treated like a guest, not a piece of crap.

The location is fantastic for Clifton hill and nearby restaurants, and all the staff we dealt with were friendly and quick to help. We stayed two nights and had no major complaints. The bath had lots of very hot water and plenty of towels, the AC was fantastic, and it was quiet at night. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, the atmosphere pleasant, and the staff kind. The restaurant itself badly needs updating, with several seats held together with duct tape. Our room was clean enough but dusty in places and due for a refresh. The bed was too firm, the pillows lumpy, the bathroom faucets needed tightening, and there was a ding in the wall and a mark above the bed. We'd stay again with the right expectations. It's a decent room in a great location for the price, not the Ritz.

The people who checked us in were friendly and helpful, and my wife and I enjoyed our first stay. The bed was comfortable, the tub clean and spacious, and the room was nice, though we wished it had more lighting. The location is hard to beat. If you want good service and rooms at a fair price, this is a good option.

We stayed one night in the Family Suite, Room 301, and had a very pleasant time. The location is hard to beat, with the breakfast cafe inside the hotel and Remington’s steak house next door. The room and linens were clean, there was plenty of hot water and pressure, and we had no trouble with Wi-Fi or parking. Uber rides were usually just a minute or two away when we went out for drinks. We didn't have time to use the pool or hot tub, but we're planning to return for two or three nights in December. There's lots to do. The hotel isn't as modern as some of the fancy Double Tree or Hilton Hotels, but for the price you can't beat the location, friendly staff, and value.
