Art and Martha, thank you for noticing every little detail. You made this feel like the ultimate B&B, and you were exceptional hosts.

We had a beautiful homemade breakfast during our two-night stay. Our room was large, with two bedrooms and a bathroom, and the owners were genuinely charming and welcoming.

Hearing about the historic home and the incredible oak tree out front was a real treat, and we enjoyed spending time with our friendly hosts. The suite was spacious, nicely decorated, and thoughtfully stocked. There were lovely treats when we arrived, too, and breakfast was fantastic. Such a lovely stay, I highly recommend this home!

That antique pipe organ Martha played just before we left was pure magic. And breakfast was unbelievable: fresh fruit, warm croissants, homemade preserves and yogurt, followed by Martha's piping hot bacon, broccoli, onion and cheese quiche, straight out of the over. It was honestly the best quiche I've ever tasted. We also had a lovely breakfast conversation with another couple staying at the Grand Oak, which is what B&Bs are all about. Art and Martha were extraordinary hosts at the Grand Oak Manor. We arrived mid-evening and they offered fresh coffee, tea and cold drinks. Martha showed us around the historic home and even coaxed me into trying a new board-game before bed. Our Thomas room was comfortable and well equipped, with an ensuite bath. In the morning, Art had a steaming mug of coffee ready when I came downstairs. Nothing but positive things to say about the hosts and the Grand Oak Manor. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful view of Annapolis Royal from our window. The room was spotless, roomy and cozy, and Art and Martha were very hospitable. They took time to share the history and unique features of their home with us. Their home-cooked breakfasts were the best we've ever had at a B&B. Thank you, Art and Martha!
