Home2 Suites by Hilton Edmonton South

The hotel was quiet, the staff were friendly, and the whole stay felt easy and comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and modern, with all the utilities you’d need. I especially liked the full kitchen and full-size fridge, which is handy for stays longer than one night. It felt like a home away from home, and I’d definitely stay again for a longer trip to Edmonton.

The breakfast was the best continental one we’ve had in a long time, and the pool stays open until midnight. Our suite worked perfectly for our family of 5+, with clean, comfortable rooms and an affordable deposit. The location is convenient and the room was affordable too. We loved this hotel and were extremely happy with the whole stay.

The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, from arranging the team booking through check-out. They were warm and helpful at every step, and it was clear other returning guests knew them well too. The breakfast had a big range of hot and cold choices, better than what I’ve seen at other places that include breakfast. Our room was quiet and roomy, with a kitchen-like area and really comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel is close to the ring road, so most of Edmonton was easy to reach. Coming from Calgary, the south side also made for an easy getaway from our rival city, lol. Even with a major road nearby, it was quiet inside. The pool isn’t fancy and has no slides, but it was clean and big enough to splash around in, and the hot tub was a nice place to relax. The midnight closing time worked well after our team’s late game, since we could eat and still have a soak. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m up in Edmonchuck. A+++.

We had a great time on the outdoor patio one evening, especially with the comfortable fire table. The hotel was well located for us, close to the city and restaurants, and we walked to nearby Bodega, which was great. Our room was spacious and quiet, and the darkening blinds made it pitch black at night. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with enough variety for our 7-night stay. The staff were friendly and very focused on guests. I’ll definitely recommend the hotel to people I know, and we’ll be back.
