Staybridge Suites Guelph by IHG

Justin made me feel right at home from check-in, with a warm, friendly manner and real helpfulness. She went out of her way to make sure things were right, and her pride in making guests feel valued came through. Her professionalism and positive attitude set the tone for the stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming too. I’ll be back and will recommend it to friends and family, thanks to her.

I’ve just come home after three nights, and we’ll definitely stay there again. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Justin. She went out of her way for me and my three daughters, was always happy to see us, and made us feel so welcome. I wish I’d had a chance to thank her in person for everything.

After a devastating flood at our house, we arrived to staff who were incredibly helpful. The manager went out of his way to find us a room, and they made us feel welcome from check-in through checkout three weeks later. Breakfast was very good every morning, especially the coffee, and housekeeping staff were friendly and always smiling. I’d recommend the hotel for an overnight or extended stay. I can’t thank them enough for a wonderful stay. 10/10.

We tried several times to cancel our first night because our son was sick. We were told it was possible, but no one answered when we called back. The hotel was fully booked that night and clearly resold the room, yet still charged us for it. The more concerning issue was a staff member’s handling of a noise complaint involving our children. She came to the door, stepped into the doorway, filmed the boys “for evidence,” and threatened them with a $500 fine. Several of them were very upset. We were the adults on the reservation, but no one contacted us. We informed the police that night. Management has since denied it happened, even though multiple minors reported it immediately and consistently. A very disappointing experience, and not what we expect from an IHG property.
