Chebucto Inn

The only good thing was the location. I knew someone who stayed here long term and found bed bugs. Pest control came and said they found nothing, even though there was physical evidence and bite marks. The staff were rude and didn’t care, and the room was dirty and old. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Pretty decent rooms, a good location, and on site parking. The staff were friendly, and there’s a restaurant on the property. Don’t miss the eggs Benny with Hollandaise sauce and home fries.

Good location, clean rooms, and a decent price. The beds were just okay. I’d stay again.

The staff were very nice, and it was handy that there was a washroom right beside the sign-in room. It’s also good that they don’t require a visa. I booked this place for the balcony so we could smoke, but smoking wasn’t allowed there. Instead, we had to go to the other side of the parking lot and freeze by the cigarette butt can. The lot was slippery and I nearly fell and broke my neck. The room had somebody’s hair elastic on the floor and metal from the curtains on the bed. The refrigerator wasn’t plugged in, so my food and eggnog were getting warm. The eggnog goes bad quickly, and my car might have kept it colder. The TV wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi, and the password was way too hard. There was only one pillow, and there should have been an extra one. I didn’t see a Bible. If you’re trying to sleep while someone else uses the washroom, the lights will wake you up. The sign-in room was beside a washroom, so driving there took forever. A second chair at the table would’ve helped, or at least enough room to sit without banging your elbows. There was nowhere to hang a coat, no hangers or hooks, and the chairs were up against the wall.
