Budget Inn 2000

Work was being done in my apartment, so my cat and I needed somewhere to spend the day. The room at the Budget Inn was tidy and clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the staff were friendly and efficient. There’s ample parking too. It’s no luxury hotel, but if you just need a reasonably priced room and a good sleep, I’d give the Budget Inn a try.

Absolutely disgusting. The room wouldn’t close or lock properly, there was hardly any bedding, and what bedding there was had burn holes all over it.

I want to apologize to the owner of the Budget Inn in downtown Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I had a personal problem that escalated, and I got angry at everything and took it out on the Budget Inn. A year later, I was able to rent a room there again, and I realized I’d expected the staff to feel sorry for what I was going through. They were simply doing their jobs as best they could. I appreciate their hospitality and customer service. I got clean sheets and towels every day, and the staff were friendly and courteous, checking that I had what I needed. My problems were out of anyone else’s control. Paying for the room was my responsibility, and asking them to wait until I could pay wasn’t something they were obligated to do. Sam and Monika really tried to make our stay pleasant, enjoyable, and safe. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything, and best wishes. Thank you for helping me again.

The upper rooms are significantly better than the lower ones, if you somehow have to stay here. But they’re all horrible and crawling with bugs. The rooms are infested. The staff are rude, especially one of the women, and seem to care only about money, not the property. Expect to be harassed if you’re even five minutes late paying and dare to stay another night. I’d give this place negative stars if I could. It should be bombed.
