Staybridge Suites Hamilton-Downtown

Janice at reception made a real difference to my visit. She was friendly, professional, and went out of her way to help with anything I needed. You can tell she genuinely cares about guests, and she’s a real credit to Staybridge Suites. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and had excellent facilities and a welcoming feel. I had a fantastic stay at Staybridge Suites Hamilton and would happily return. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, tasty, and offered plenty of choices each morning. The room was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, and the team made me feel comfortable and valued. Everyone I met was kind and attentive, especially Suzie. That genuine care made the stay memorable. I’d highly recommend it!

The room was only sort of clean, with lots of unfamiliar hairs around and a nasty fridge. For one night it was bearable, but I can’t imagine staying several. The area around the hotel was a nightmare, and you have to buzz in at any hour. I know Hamilton has a bad reputation, but I was surprised this hotel was rated so well. We drove to see a rodeo at TD Colliseum, which wasn’t far. When we got back, music was blaring from a nearby nightclub. I called downstairs and was told not to worry, it would stop around 2am because it was a nightclub. Parking was awful too. Even a sedan barely fit around the garage corners, and people who checked in after us had to leave and find parking elsewhere because the lot was full. Glad we stayed just one night.

Robin, the manager, and the front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast teams were terrific during our long stay in April. My daughter was very ill in the hospital, and Robin was there for us day and night. The buffet breakfast included with our stay was the best I’ve seen at most hotels. The location was perfect for downtown, and the secure underground parking was great, though the lot is small. Finding a spot during the week was easy, but busy weekend events meant they used overflow parking across the street. Robin and the staff gave us a home away from home. We won’t forget you.
