The apartment itself was very dirty, with grimy floors, food and juice splashed on the walls, garbage visible under the couch, and worn, stained sheets on the beds. The kitchen had mismatched utensils or was missing them. Outside, there was a strange smell and piles of garbage by the entrance that animals had torn through, scattering food waste and other rubbish. The parking lot was flooded with garbage-filled water from a clogged drain, and we had to walk through it to reach the entrance. The filth had all of us worried about bed bugs or other insect bites.

The kitchen had a pretty good supply of cookware and dishes, more than in most Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. I loved the skylight in the kitchen and the open layout. The building was nice and mostly quiet, except for two nights when a man was loudly arguing with himself. The place was clean, though the shower wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked. I’d certainly stay again.

The photos make it look nicely renovated, but in person it was a mess. There was mold in the bathroom, the TV was broken, and the mattress leaked. The couch was dirty, chairs were broken, and the TV remote was burnt. Street noise was loud too.

A great short term rental. I’m here all month for work, and it’s been better than I expected. Hope to use it again on future trips.
