Harrison Beach Hotel

My family and I had a lovely stay at the Harrison Beach Hotel in early March. The suite was spacious and comfortable, and the view from our second-story balcony was incredible. As a photographer, I especially appreciated it and included a picture of the scenery. I highly recommend it.

Room 211 had a very good balcony view, which would be especially nice in warmer weather. We visited in April for Tulip Festival, when the weather can go either way, so come ready for all four seasons. We paid for early check-in and for parking, though street parking is free and public. The hotel is within an easy walk of nearly everything you might need. Alfoncia greeted us with a lovely smile. She was polite, wonderful to talk with, and recommended a marvelous bakery in Agassiz that lived up to expectations. Our recently remodeled room was excellent, from the small kitchenette to the bathroom. The bed and linens were clean and soft, and the bathroom had plenty of supplies and fluffy, thick towels. It got dark enough and was quiet, though we could hear neighbors until quiet time. My one suggestion to make the room perfect would be a ceiling fan. We made a great choice staying here.

Megan was wonderful and helpful when a small issue came up, and she made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We even talked about our matching tattoos. We’ll definitely come back because of Megan. The view, hot tub, and rooms were pretty spectacular too!

We were in town for a wedding at Fraser River Lodge, about a 15-minute drive away, and the Harrison Beach Hotel was a great choice. The rooms are bright, clean, and modern, and seem to have been renovated in the last year or two. The price was good, too. I’ve stayed at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort several times, but for what they charge, it isn’t worth it to me. It feels dated and tired and needs a major renovation. The Harrison Beach Hotel is much nicer by comparison, and I’d definitely recommend it as a hidden gem on the Harrison Hot Springs strip.
