We didn’t spend much time in the apartment, but the stay was pleasant enough. Eric, the maintenance man in room 206, was fantastic. He politely helped us with anything we needed and made the stay ten times better just knowing he was around. Hope you enjoy the fresh salmon from us, Eric. You’re the best.

The property was listed for 12 people, but there was bedding for only 10, and they wouldn’t provide an extra pillow or blanket. The manager kept pestering us about checkout and then harassing us. Check-in was at 2 pm and checkout at 11, which is normal around the world, but that didn’t stop the repeated hassle. This place ruined my New Year. A waste of money. Don’t come here.

At around $400 a night, I expected management to respond and the quiet hours to mean something. The posted hours weren’t enforced, and a large group partying in the suite above us kept my friend and me awake until sunrise after our first night. I tried contacting management, but got no reply until the next morning, after I followed up again. They advertised 24/7 property management access, yet I had to go through Airbnb to raise the complaint and request a refund. Our suite was reasonably clean, though it needed updating. It was a frustrating stay, and I’d give zero stars if I could. I wouldn’t recommend booking here based on this experience.

We booked one night for New Year’s Eve for 12 family members. Check-in wasn’t until 4 pm and checkout was 10 am, so we didn’t even get 20 hours. The arrangements were supposed to cover all 12 of us, but the service and management were so poor that the experience was awful. Waste of time and money. Bad host.

The apartment hosted by Iconic Retreats had plenty of space and a nice view from the front window, but it was extremely noisy on the third floor. Kids running back and forth and dropping toys could be heard, and I tried to drown it out with the air-conditioning. The living-room unit didn’t work. There’s also a rundown, sketchy RV park right beside the building. Cleanliness was the bigger problem. There were grimy kitchen handles, the sink hadn’t been cleaned properly, and I found a dead bug in my bed when I woke up. The dining bench had gross handprints, and there were crumbs and crud on the couch and ottoman. They clearly hadn’t moved the ottoman to vacuum. I pulled out an extra blanket for the couch, but it had white stuff all over it. When I washed it, I found the dryer full of dirt and sand. With a proper cleaning and a bit more care to make the place inviting, it could be okay to stay in.
