The staff were friendly and polite, and the bed was really comfortable. I also loved the heated bathroom floor. But the rest of the stay was disappointing. On Feb1/26, I was in room 128, a king business room. I noticed a few ants in the bathroom when I arrived and thought it might be normal, but by the next morning there were many more, including after they came out overnight. My garbage was tired & contained because of it. The room had no coffee, glasses, or clock, and the TV remote wouldn’t connect. I called the desk at 7 pm and waited 45 minutes while two people worked out the problem, but it still wouldn’t connect the next morning. Breakfast at 7:45 am was poor: dry eggs and bagel, burnt sausage, and cold potato patties. I mentioned it, and they offered to make a fresh batch, but I had to leave. The coffee was great. I’ve stayed here many times, but this visit wasn’t so good. I was disappointed that they didn’t offer a 10% discount for the concerns I raised. Next time I might try another location.

After getting home, I checked on Monday and saw that the $250 hold had been released, but the $152 room charge had appeared again under the same transaction. When I called the manager, I got the same answer as before: they couldn’t help and I should contact my bank. The experience was stressful and frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you care about clear billing and responsive service. The payment confusion started during check-in and continued through my Saturday stay. My bank account showed a $152 room charge, holds for $250 and $100, and several transactions where money was deducted, returned, then deducted again. At the front desk, the receptionist couldn’t explain what was happening and returned only $100, with no clear reason for the other charges. At checkout the next morning, I showed the manager the transactions and expected an explanation or help. Instead, I was told they didn’t know what was going on and that I should contact my bank, even though the hotel had initiated the transactions. The repeated charges and lack of accountability left me chasing my own money over problems with the hotel’s payment handling.

The staff were so nice, and the front desk lady kindly moved us to an available room by the pool. The place was incredibly sanitary and the beds were comfortable. For a motel, the facilities were incredible: indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, sauna, and hot tub, plus a varied free breakfast. I think this was the first hotel in all my years of traveling where I had bacon in the morning. There were muffins and bagels, eggs and bacon, and even a cute mini waffle machine.

The pools, inside and out, looked clearly dirty. Staff insisted they’d cleaned them that day and said they were safe, but I had a baby who wanted to swim with us, and I wasn’t willing to risk my baby’s safety. Our unit’s carpet was filthy too. I took off my slippers, shoes, and socks to feel at home, but my feet got muddy walking on it. They don’t clean that carpet. Getting into the unit was already a hassle. It was locked from the inside, staff couldn’t open it, and we had to wait in the lobby. When we asked for hot water to drink, the manager gave us water from the sink faucet and said the kitchen had a different faucet. It was obvious the water came from the sink, and he just lied to us. There were too many disappointments to list. This was our first visit to the town, and our stay here left us with a bad impression. The hotel wasn’t worth the price, and I was very disappointed. I wish I could give it zero stars. Just go somewhere else.

I felt absolutely ripped off at $359 per night. I’d booked a room weeks ahead through an assistant, and since I’d stayed here a number of times before, I expected some kind of reasonable Super 8 rate. At check-in, I was told it would be $359 a night, a disgusting amount for a hotel of this quality. I called the manager, but was told nothing could be done. I should have checked the rate myself, but when I looked at booking rates, the highest price in the next two months was $195.00. I was also left on hold with the front desk for 25 minutes. The service, amenities, and cleanliness don’t justify $359 here, no matter how busy it is.
