Super 8 by Wyndham High River AB

We come here for two nights during our annual line dance event and always have a good stay. It’s clean, breakfast is good, and the staff are helpful and personable. Carson and Micah at the front desk were very pleasant, as were the restaurant and cleaning staff.

The key cards sometimes took several insertions before they let us in, so updating that would help. On the second night, teens staying there were making a lot of noise around 11:30 p.m. I called the front desk, and the noise stopped almost immediately. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was great, and breakfast was unreal. They even let us bring extra food up to our room. The location was perfect. My one other complaint is that there weren’t always enough staff on duty to bring things up to the room.

After dozens of Wyndham stays over the last couple of years, this one was by far the best. Other Wyndham operators should have to tour this location. It had a full hot breakfast, a pool, waterslide, and hot tub, on top of being clean, maintained, and fully serviced. Everything was clean and working. This is what a motel should be like.

Breakfast is excellent, with eggs, bacon, hash browns, cereal, toast, bagels, waffles, banana bread, coffee, and more. For my family, that saves at least $70 compared with breakfast at Smittys. I’ve stayed twice in one month, partly because of the breakfast, and the staff have been really nice and friendly. They’ve gone above and beyond for my family. We stayed on the third floor and in a dog-friendly room, and both were just as clean as a non-dog-friendly room. I almost wanted to keep this place to myself so it wouldn’t fill up on weekends, but I had to leave a review. I highly recommend it.
