Hope Springs Eternal Bed and Breakfast

We were getting ready for bed with my family when I found a LOT of body hair and a big BAND AID on the blankets. I'm pretty sure the blankets hadn't been cleaned. My husband called the owner to ask politely for clean sheets, which seems like the minimum to expect from a place like this. The owner yelled at us on the phone, was unkind, and didn't want to believe our complaint. He offered a full refund if we left because we were very picky. Now we're calling to ask for the refund, and he hung up on us. Awful experience. We were only asking for clean sheets. What a shame.

In the morning we enjoyed the mountain views and spotted horses on the neighboring property. There was also a large selection of books to browse. We stayed one night while skiing at Manning Park, and the place was clean, well cared for, and spacious enough for all four of us.

The host made things easy by providing plenty of fruit, milk, bread, and eggs. There were also lots of books to read, which was really awesome. My wife, daughter, and I stayed at this B&B for one night over the last Labour Day. It was very comfortable and better than I expected.

The quiet surroundings, comfortable bed, and spotless rooms made this B&B one of our favourite stops on the trip, even compared with much more expensive hotels. It was surprisingly spacious and amazing value. We also got great advice about places to see and eat locally.
