The old-fashioned motel service was a treat, and the older Asian man who checked me in was delightful. I’ll stay here again. The room on the East side of Hope was spotless, possibly the cleanest motel room I’ve had in years, and I’m fussy about bedding. The sheets looked pressed or ironed, something I don’t think I’ve experienced in a cheaper motel or hotel. The blankets were warm enough that I could sleep with the window open all night, which is rare. There was endless hot water and a handy charging cord right by the bed. Highly recommend.

A nice, clean place to stop for the night, and they keep this old hotel in good shape. Just bring your own soap and shampoo. They provide little shampoo pouches that are nearly impossible to open with wet hands. Besides that, it’s pretty nice.

We’d seen mixed reviews on different sites, but our stay was a pleasant surprise. The room was spotless and cozy, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The compact kitchenette was especially useful: it had a full Avanti setup with two burners, a sink, and a fridge/freezer, plus a coffee maker, toaster, dishes for two, utensils, and cookware. There was a TV and air conditioner as well.

I’ve stayed here about half a dozen times over the years. It’s quiet, clean, and modern, with Wi-Fi, a TV, and a mini kitchen. For a budget room, you can’t go wrong.

The hosts were very good, and the room had a nice kitchenette. The mattress was soft, and there was only one small pillow per person. My wife and I didn’t sleep as well as we’d hoped, which is why I dropped the rating by two stars.
