Knights Inn Woodstock

I’m curious where my first review went. It seemed to disappear. Interesting. The owner advertises pet-friendly rooms, but they aren’t pet friendly if he expects you to keep your pet crated the whole time. He used “cleanliness” as an excuse, which felt comical given how disgusting the whole hotel is, and the reviews back that up. He took my money and refused a refund after falsely advertising a pet-friendly room. He screamed at me and took my ID. I had to drive back, and they gave it back the next day. The owners were extremely rude. While I was there, he and his wife started arguing in their language. I don’t know what was said, but she sounded angry, and I hope it was at him. I pity the children he makes stay around while he and his wife try to run this mess. These people are vile and don’t deserve a business. I’d give zero stars if I could. Do not deal with this hotel.

My family was meant to stay here for three nights in July. On the way to NB, all three of them died in a car accident. We called to explain what happened and ask about reversing the charges, but the hotel refused. They seemed completely uncaring. They blamed Expedia, saying the booking had gone through them and there was nothing the hotel could do. That was a lie: Expedia told us it was the hotel’s decision. Keep driving and find another hotel. Zero stars.

Clean, warm, and a really nice room. The location was great too. I’ll stay here again.

It was a quiet stay, and the rooms were reasonable. The owner was a really nice guy who made me feel welcome. Since I was traveling solo, he even upgraded my room. Service was friendly all around.
