We came here ahead of a half marathon and weren't told when booking or checking in that a wedding would be taking place on the main floor that Saturday night. At 11 pm, the music and MC were still loud enough to hear clearly on the third floor. The front desk apologized and offered earplugs for my husband and our two young kids. I do not recommend this hotel.

Check-in was quick and convenient, and we had a lovely room. Breakfast was better than average for a chain hotel, pretty decent for what you can expect. Marriott is pricey for us, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Such a nice, clean room, but there was no heat during our stay. It was 30 below outside, and we slept in our winter coats and socks because maintenance couldn't come until 9 am. We were freezing. Maybe this would be a lovely hotel in summer.

The mini kitchenette was great, with dishes, a sink, dish soap, a dishwasher, and a fridge with freezer. Our room was spacious and had a good view of the sky, and the staff were nice. We slept comfortably, though I wish there had been body lotion. After the pool and a shower my skin was really dry, and I'd forgotten to bring my own.

The pool and waterslide were a hit with the kids, and the fitness centre was quite impressive. Breakfast was a little above average, with several freshly cooked options, and the neighbouring restaurant M.I.C. was pretty good too. Showing your key there gets you a 10% discount. This was my first time in Sudbury, and as a Bonvoy member I wanted a Marriott. Every staff interaction was pleasant, especially my repeated dealings with Angela, Phillip, and Roxanne, whose service was exemplary. It's a wonderful extended stay hotel with the amenities you'd need. I was a little surprised there were no rooms with walk-in showers, but that didn't take away a star given everything else and the phenomenal customer service. I'd stay again without question.
