We waited more than 75 minutes for our food, even though the place was hardly busy. The waitress eventually snarled and laughed at us, then just said, “sorry.” Nobody checked on us, and people who arrived 45 minutes after my family were served first. I’ve been coming here since I was a little boy, so I’m disgusted by the service we got today. My 10 month old son was left hungry and crying for over an hour while we were paying customers. I plan to take this further.

I was there recently and found several unsafe problems in the room: loose bathroom floor tiles and a 13 " step up to get in. There was only 1 working light, the TV wouldn’t turn off, and the toilet flushed every 10 min, 24 hrs a day. When we raised it with staff, we were told it wasn’t their job. Steve didn’t want to hear it and told us to go elsewhere. ALSO, I had fraud charges after they processed my CC through their RESTURANT, which I believe came from illegal use of my card.

I didn't stay at the hotel, just ate at the restaurant. The food was pretty good.

We come back to Chateau Guay regularly when we visit family. The rooms are always large and clean, and the housekeeping and front desk people are lovely. We also really like the restaurant, especially breakfast. The food and prices are hard to beat. Love this place!
