Canadiana Motel

The room was clean, quiet, and pleasant. I’d been emergency evacuated by helicopter from nearby Killarney Provincial Park while on a remote canoe trip after getting and reacting to about 8 wasp stings. I stayed overnight while waiting for my friends to pick me up, and the owner/manager was extremely helpful and gracious. They went beyond the usual motel duties.

The hallway, the smell, and the shady crowd outside the motel were enough to convince me to leave. I walked in and straight back out without even seeing the room.

I was there for 3 hours and got bit 11 times by bed bugs. The lady at the front accused me of faking a video of the bug that bit me. This place is disgusting. The chair in room 111 is filthy, and so are the carpets. I’d recommend passing this place by and keeping driving.

Management was really helpful. She got a small ramp for the door so our son could get his power wheelchair into the first floor rooms. The beds were clean and comfortable. Thank you.
