Travelodge by Wyndham Sudbury

The pool had hair floating in the water and a lot more on the floor by the drains. In the room, my friend found long black hairs in her bed, and there were some on our towels too. The fridge had no door over the freezer compartment, so our vegetables, fruit, sandwiches, and other things froze. We complained about noise after being there only two hours. A child was running back and forth, and they were told about it. After the second complaint, the man offered to move us farther away. I explained my friend has a walking disability and suggested they move the other guests instead, but he wouldn't. He offered that I could move, showing no respect for disabled people. At one point, a woman stopped right outside our door and talked loudly and rudely, with no consideration. Do yourself a favor and don't go there.

They had shampoo, but no conditioner, and the front desk told me they don't carry any when I called to ask. I've never stayed in a hotel that didn't provide both basic shampoo and conditioner. Crazy.

We ate at Perkins and were very disappointed. I ordered blueberry pancakes with eggs and sausage. The sausage looked several days old and was hard as a rock. The pancakes had been microwaved, and the toast was stale and hard. The room was really dated, and the beds were worn out. It smelled like cigarette smoke just outside the door. We used the patio door to come and go, but there were no mats for shoes, so we had to use towels.

We had to spend Christmas at the hotel during our long-term stay, and the room was clean and roomy enough for our family of five plus partners and friends to celebrate together. The staff have been very friendly and accommodating. We're very satisfied with our stay.
