Comfort Inn East

The rooms were comfy, but finding an east side Mario's container and a receipt from over a month ago in the drawer made me question how clean it was. There aren’t really any amenities, and for the price I figured there might be a pool. Breakfast was small and the food hadn’t been topped up. Probably won’t be back.

For a two night work project in Sudbury Ontario, we booked a room on the first floor with patio door access. That worked well for my coworker, who smoked outside the room. The hotel is very clean, and cleaning service was awesome.

There was nowhere to park, even though we had a patio room. It was so full that vehicles were parked on the grass. Then, when we opened the door, bugs were crawling all over the floor. Later, we found stains on the sheets that looked like blood. Honestly, stop renting rooms if you can’t fit the cars.

The area was very nice, close to restaurants and shopping, and we didn’t see any “sketchy” people nearby, so we felt safe with our family. Check-in service was amazing, and I was surprised by how clean and new everything looked. Our room was clean and smelled nice too. We stayed one night with my (almost) 1 year old and hubby on our first visit to Sudbury, and enjoyed every second. Thank you for the wonderful stay and experience. We’ll definitely return and recommend it.
