The grounds and land are beautiful, and they were so welcoming to me, my family, our doggos, and our 3 rigs. We only stayed one night, but I’d happily come back if we get the chance. The motel rooms are a little small, though they’re cozy, warm, inviting, and cutely decorated. We even got to watch their sweet little kitten play while we checked in, and the older kitty came by our room door later to say hi. Absolutely amazing, can’t recommend them enough!

We were really happy with this stopover and would definitely stay again. It’s listed as closed, but we called and booked a room for our hoteluser in the group. The campground has wide access and should suit rigs and RVs of all sizes. We paid $30 cash for electric and dump, and they aren’t selling fuel currently. It’s an eclectic place, with half-dead vehicles that I personally enjoyed looking around. Frank was there, a lovely guy with a couple of little doggos, and the permanent resident next to us was friendly too. A black bear was seen at the edge of the campground.

The scones were DELICIOUS, and the staff were wonderful. I stopped for gas and snacks, and they were super helpful. I’d forgotten my wallet, so they stayed up late to let me come back for it. The shop is cute and the place looks like a great spot to stay. We’ll be back, you have to stop by when you come through!

After we broke down near their lodge, the owners went out of their way to help us. They’re absolutely lovely. I also loved the little shop, easily the best gift shop type boutique I’ve seen. It had lots of things I’d actually want to own, instead of just cheap trinkets. There’s a small bakery too, with homemade scones.

The owner was really helpful with tips for our drive south, and they let us check in late over Thanksgiving weekend. The rooms were cozy, clean, and warm, with the most comfortable beds I’ve had on my whole trip. There’s a cute, unique shop and good breakfast treats, and it was cheaper than staying in town. Great experience!
