Kilmorey Lodge

We were impressed by the restaurant’s beautiful decor and welcoming feel, even though we didn’t stay at the hotel. You can sit in either the pub or restaurant, and order from either menu wherever you choose to sit. Lily was an outstanding server, friendly, efficient and attentive through the meal. The food was delicious, and her service made the visit even better. It’s a place worth dining at when you’re in Waterton.

When our large family group arrived, we realized the pullout in our room didn’t work. We needed five beds for four people from three families, but now had only four. The front staff Fran and manager Bernie handled it incredibly well. Even though they were sold out, they quickly and kindly fixed the problem by letting us use the manager’s suite for our trip. They remembered our names and spoke patiently and kindly to all the guests. The hotel is beautiful, right on the lake, and we’ll definitely visit again. My little niece said, “It’s so beautiful here. Like a world where nature is first and technology hasn’t caught up!” That’s exactly the feeling you want when visiting nature. Highly recommend!

The whole place had exceptional artwork, and we loved being treated like royalty. We spent a couple of days here for our 50th Anniversary. Service was excellent, and our room was great, with a walkout patio overlooking the lake. There’s a small, friendly pub, plus a great restaurant with excellent food and wine choices. We loved our stay.

The room looked great at first, and the people were friendly, but I wouldn’t recommend staying or eating here. After working all day, I found dirt, popcorn and pubic hair all over the bed. It had been made, but the sheets clearly weren’t clean. The front desk clerk said the system showed it had been cleaned. They did bring me fresh bedding. The restaurant food was good, but service was terribly slow and they didn’t have enough staff for the number of people there. I waited 45 minutes just to place an order for a salad and beer. The salad arrived after about 1.5-1.75 hours, and the beer never came, even though I mentioned I was still waiting for it. A colleague had recommended the Kilmorey Lodge.
