That bathroom was probably the most spacious I’ve had in a hotel. I liked the décor and the Dove toiletries, and the low sides on the tub make getting in and out easier for kids, seniors, or anyone with mobility concerns. The rain-style shower flow was pleasant, though the head is mounted high, so shorter guests may have trouble adjusting its angle or settings. The soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers are also high up; shorter children can’t reach them, and some spray out quickly and straight ahead. In the room, the electronic peephole was a new feature for me, and the two roller shades were handy for filtering or blocking the light. I’d have liked dimmable lamps beside the chair and bed so they wouldn’t bother anyone trying to sleep. You can hear the nearby train, too, since the room isn’t fully soundproof. The front desk staff were very friendly. There’s plenty of parking, it’s convenient for getting around, and a Tim Hortons is nearby. Security seems to matter here: the main doors are locked later in the evening and food deliveries can’t go past the front desk. The pool is small but has a toddler wading area and waterslides. Breakfast is included, with lots of options.

We keep choosing this location, and every stay has been a consistent five stars. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff at the front desk, in housekeeping, and serving the buffet were all kind and courteous.

Our car wouldn’t start, and Derek from maintenance patiently got us going again. He even pulled up onto a curb in his own car to help. Debbie at the front desk had also been really nice and accommodating. You don’t see service going this far above and beyond much anymore. The beds were so comfortable we slept past checkout.

The free breakfast was out of this world, honestly good enough that I’d stay here again just for that. The room felt new, and it was spacious, clean, and nice. The front desk was super friendly, and the pool, hot tub, and waterslide were all good.
